For Melissa, (our founder), food always seemed like it was the reason to bring family together and her childhood version of "family time". The love she has for baking stemmed from the relaxed attitude of her parents and grandparents letting the kids help and participate in the kitchen.
Out of this experience came the idea and passion to start her own "sweets" business. With Cheat Day Sweets, Melissa gets to channel her love for baking and bringing people together around her undeniably delicious sweet treats. With a modern take on baking, as well as some down home mom style recipes, every day can now be a Cheat Day!
